To thrive as a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you need a solid understanding of healthcare terminology, insurance processes, and customer service best practices, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent experience. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and secure communication platforms is typically required. Employers typically provide secure systems and regular opportunities for virtual team meetings to foster collaboration and ongoing support.
