Position Overview

Harmony Mental Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify the most effective treatment approaches.
• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience, utilizing the latest evidence-based practices.
• Provide specialized therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their traumas, develop effective coping strategies, and promote healing.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient.
• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to provide immediate support and guidance.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for additional support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and research in trauma therapy, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to domestic violence, sexual assault, and other adverse childhood experiences. Your role is pivotal in helping these individuals navigate the complexities of their experiences, fostering a path toward recovery and emotional stability.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
• At least 2 years of professional post-licensure experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• Able to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, particularly with trauma survivors.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient management strategies.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development activities related to trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits

Harmony Mental Healthcare offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
