Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platforms, facilitating discussions that promote mental well-being.
• Help clients articulate their emotions and personal experiences to foster self-insight and enhance their interpersonal relationships.
• Serve as a strong client advocate, assisting individuals in defining personal goals and assisting them in navigating challenges.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans with a focus on solution-oriented strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base consists of pre-screened individuals who present with stable, low acuity concerns, allowing therapists to focus on effective, accessible, and meaningful therapy sessions. As a therapist, you will engage with a diverse demographic, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Possess an independent state-issued license (e.g., LMFT, LPC, or LCSW); provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.
• Demonstrate the capacity to make accurate professional evaluations and develop treatment plans effectively.
• Have strong interpersonal skills complemented by a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Exhibit proficient computer skills, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is preferred. A background in working with diverse populations and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be considered an asset in delivering tailored care.
