Mindful Health Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd is seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position allows for flexibility while providing essential mental health services to those in need. With a salary range of $70,000 – $100,000 annually, compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials.

This role allows you to engage in meaningful work from the comfort of your home while still being part of a vibrant community health clinic setting. Our team is composed of licensed professionals who collaborate to ensure continuity of care, sharing ideas and strategies during regular team meetings. You will have the necessary technological tools to perform your counseling work efficiently, including teletherapy platforms that ensure secure and private interactions with clients.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, utilizing standardized tools and therapeutic approaches to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, groups, and families, drawing from an array of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to coordinate holistic care, ensuring that each client receives comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services as required, demonstrating your ability to manage acute situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Engage with the community through outreach programs designed to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma, which may include workshops and seminars.

Your role will focus on a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a therapist in this community-oriented clinic, you will be instrumental in addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges, thus enhancing your clinical skills and cultural competence.

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential for this position.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of therapeutic rapport with clients from all walks of life.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to engage effectively with diverse populations
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation of client progress and therapy sessions in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• A minimum of two years of direct, post-graduate therapeutic experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with demonstrated expertise in working with trauma and crisis situations.
• Experience in group therapy settings and community outreach initiatives is an advantage, as it allows for integrated support and enhanced community engagement.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms will facilitate smoother interactions with clients and streamline documentation processes.
