This position is entirely remote, incorporating telehealth best practices to provide therapy and counseling services to our clients. You will have the flexibility of creating your optimal work environment while being supported by an enthusiastic and collaborative team. Our typical work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while enabling you to focus on delivering care to our patient population.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate mental health diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's objectives.
• Implement client interventions leveraging creative therapeutic techniques to facilitate personal growth and assist clients in reaching their goals.
• Document client sessions meticulously, ensuring compliance with company policies on record-keeping and treatment evaluations.
• Engage with clients in a meaningful manner, fostering a therapeutic relationship that encourages openness and trust.
• Collaborate with case managers, family members, and medical professionals to provide holistic care and coordinate services effectively.
• Participate proactively in clinical staff meetings and professional development sessions to continually enhance your skills and the team's performance.
• Contribute positively to the team culture by sharing insights, ideas, and flexible problem-solving strategies.

As a counselor at Diversus, you will work with adults, adolescents, and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management. Your ability to communicate effectively across different demographics will be essential in fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.

• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Active clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Tennessee is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that enable you to convey complex ideas clearly and empathetically.
• Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients while fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Skills in timely documentation and the management of clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Experience in working with a diverse client population and a commitment to promoting acceptance and inclusivity.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling or therapy services is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies will be beneficial.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment focused on client-centered care.
