This role is uniquely situated in a school setting, allowing the LCSW to work closely with students and families to address mental health needs that may arise within the educational context. The position is entirely remote, providing flexibility while ensuring dedicated access to resources and support for both staff and clients. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients dealing with emotional and psychological challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and areas for potential growth, utilizing evidence-based tools and methods.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and client goals, regularly evaluating progress and making necessary adjustments.
• Maintain precise clinical documentation and case records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state laws, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client data.
• Engage in ongoing supervision and continue professional development through workshops, training, and conferences, maintaining up-to-date knowledge in social work practices.

You will primarily work with students, families, and school personnel, addressing mental health concerns that affect educational success and personal well-being. By fostering a collaborative environment, you will facilitate discussions that are responsive to the varying needs of clients, ensuring culturally competent and sensitive interactions that recognize the unique backgrounds and identities of each individual.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge of social work principles.
• A valid and appropriate Tennessee LCSW license permitting independent practice.
• A compassionate approach to client care, emphasizing empathy, active listening, and an understanding of diverse cultural perspectives.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, specifically providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, or families in a mental health capacity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and clients alike.

• Experience working within educational settings will be highly advantageous, allowing for a deeper understanding of the specific challenges faced by students.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in digital health record systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate client documentation and therapy sessions.
