• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, abilities, support systems, and life circumstances.
• Deliver individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy based on evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop, implement, and continually evaluate individualized treatment plans that set measurable goals for client progress.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to promote a holistic approach to care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services and develop safety plans for clients in acute distress, ensuring their immediate needs are addressed.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops aimed at building skills and knowledge among clients.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Serenity Minds Wellness Center, you will serve a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. You will be instrumental in helping clients enhance their coping mechanisms, improve their emotional health, and establish meaningful interpersonal relationships.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating expertise in clinical social work.
• Strong understanding of various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches applicable to different mental health issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, allowing you to connect effectively with clients and colleagues.

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling practice is advantageous as we utilize digital tools to serve our clients.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral networks that can enhance client support and treatment options.
• Previous work with specific populations, such as children or trauma survivors, will be considered a plus.
