Key Responsibilities

• Create individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and evaluations of each client's needs.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the emotional and psychological needs of clients, ensuring the delivery of tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive client care strategies, leveraging the expertise of various professionals to enhance client outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions and progress thoughtfully, adhering to clinic protocols and state regulations, while also managing client records on a secure electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Solomon Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients including individuals, couples, families, and groups who are facing various challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. We are dedicated to supporting clients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care and understanding individual differences in approach.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential for this role.
• An active and unrestricted state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona is required to practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting, showcasing knowledge of therapy best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Competence in using teletherapy platforms and understanding of their ethical considerations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. Additionally, counselors will have access to unlimited client referrals, allowing for growth in their practice. The clinic manages all administrative tasks, including billing and paperwork, so counselors can focus entirely on providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients.
