Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing diverse modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and offer support to families and couples, addressing complex relational and emotional challenges.
• Document clinical interactions and maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to remain current with advancements in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with individuals and families facing a range of mental health disorders. This includes but is not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance misuse. Our focus is on providing compassionate care to clients who may have previously faced barriers to accessing treatment. Your role will directly contribute to changing lives and improving the mental health landscape in our community.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in clinical settings.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing the practice of counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with a diverse clientele.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software and other relevant technology to enhance clinical documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or advanced training in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in employing various therapeutic techniques to achieve positive client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on your experience and the complexity of the caseload. Additionally, First Health Care LLC offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as malpractice insurance coverage for your peace of mind. Our administrative team provides support with billing and documentation, alleviating much of the administrative burden that typically falls on clinicians.
