Work Environment

This is a remote position with an emphasis on telehealth, allowing you to conveniently provide therapy to patients from the comfort of your home while maintaining work-life balance. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient schedules. This remote setting is complemented by a state-of-the-art telehealth platform, ensuring seamless communication and care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed mental health assessments to evaluate the influence of underlying medical conditions on patientsโ€™ psychological well-being.
  • Craft and execute integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and physical health needs through collaboration with both mental health and medical teams.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
  • Coordinate and consult with medical providers to foster comprehensive care and achieve effective treatment outcomes for patients.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely assistance.
  • Educate patients on the interplay between psychological health and physical conditions, empowering them to actively manage their treatment plans.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient demographic experiencing a range of mental health and medical issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, chronic pain management, autoimmune diseases, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
  • Strong background in managing the mental health aspects of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions and evidence of effective collaborative care.
