Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic outpatient team. • Conduct thorough comprehensive assessments and evaluations, identifying clients' preferences, challenges, and motivation to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques across modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate actively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated care approach dedicated to each client’s needs.
• Offer crisis intervention strategies and support within acute distress scenarios, ensuring clients feel safe and secure while navigating their mental health crises.
• Implement community outreach programs and workshops aimed at educating and raising awareness about mental health issues, promoting our commitment to being an active community partner.

Our clientele is as diverse as the community we serve, encompassing various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses. You will engage with individuals facing challenges ranging from anxiety, depression, and trauma to more complex mental health disorders. • A current and valid license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to build strong rapport with clients and facilitate a trusting therapeutic alliance.
• Understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity and the ability to tailor therapeutic practices to meet the individual needs of clients from varied backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage caseloads effectively and maintain thorough documentation according to legal and ethical standards.

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with experience in community mental health settings or who specialize in trauma-informed care will be favored. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms are beneficial for this remote role.

• A competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
