• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health issues, enabling the development of individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness approaches, adapting techniques to fit each client's unique circumstances.
• Collaborate closely with clients to establish realistic therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring and adjusting treatment plans to align with their progress and evolving needs.
• Provide teletherapy to clients seeking remote support, utilizing technology to offer flexible access to mental health services, particularly for those facing transportation or mobility challenges.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment outcomes, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards to ensure the highest level of care and professionalism.
• Participate in regular team meetings and peer consultations to share insights, contribute to case discussions, and foster an enriching learning environment.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Cherry Blossum HealthCare, you will work with a diverse clientele that encompasses various demographics, including individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Your role in providing culturally competent care will be vital in helping clients overcome their challenges and achieve their personal goals.

• A current and valid mental health professional license in the state of Maryland (preferred credentials include LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or PsyD).
• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in the relevant disciplines is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish a safe, trusting relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and compassion; a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' life experiences.
• Capacity for effective caseload management through strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Previous experience in private practice or outpatient settings is highly advantageous.
• Experience using telehealth technologies and understanding of remote therapy dynamics.
• Familiarity with outcome measurement tools to track client progress effectively.
