Gentle Health Balance Counseling is seeking an experienced and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional mental health services in a remote capacity. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflective of your experience and skills. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will engage in a range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health conditions to inform treatment planning and intervention.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other relevant techniques in individual, family, and group settings.
• Monitoring clients' progress through regular check-ins and therapeutic sessions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as clients evolve.
• Offering crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring immediate support and safety.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in adherence to HIPAA and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and rehabilitation specialists, to provide holistic care to clients.
• Engaging in continuous professional development through supervision, training, and workshops.
• Adhering to clinical guidelines and the ethical standards set forth by relevant licensing bodies.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients swiftly.

While a minimum of three years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role is required, candidates with specialized training or certifications in specific therapeutic modalities will be given preference. Experience in a community health setting and familiarity with remote counseling practices will be advantageous.
