Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your principal duties will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify their unique mental health needs.
• Delivering tailored individual and family therapy, focusing on the specific issues and dynamics presented by clients.
• Completing billing, documentation, and individualized treatment plans in accordance with set timelines, ensuring compliance with insurance authorization processes.
• Developing crisis intervention plans, safety protocols, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans that support patients in maintaining stable functioning.
• Creating thorough discharge plans when appropriate, ensuring a smooth transition out of therapeutic services.
• Adhering strictly to all relevant federal and state regulations alongside NEHS policies to uphold safety and ethical standards.
• Engaging in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and maintain licensure requirements.
• Participating in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaborative treatment approaches.
• Completing all licensure and mandatory training as required by state laws and organizational guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other related disorders. This role will require a nuanced understanding of culturally influenced gaps in access to mental health care and the ability to tailor therapeutic interventions accordingly. By addressing these disparities, you will play a vital role in fostering healing and resilience within the community.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that meets licensure requirements.
• Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with clinical experience in teletherapy or remote counseling services. Familiarity with integrated care models and competency in managing a diverse caseload will significantly benefit your application. Training in trauma-informed care practices will be advantageous as well.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with licensure and experience. Our benefits package includes:
