I&S New Energy Well Engineering CoE Leader

The role of the I&S New Energy Well Engineering CoE Leader is to function as the technical authority for all I&S New Energy Well Engineering Scope. The New Energy Well Engineering CoE Leader will lead a team in charge of the development of technical standards and best practices related to New Energy well design, planning, and operations. In addition, the team will provide support to global operations teams to assure the standards, and best practices are communicated and implemented on I&S projects.
The New Energy Well Engineering CoE Leader will assure collaboration is present with all OFSE segments within integrated workflows that consider commercial, design, planning, and operational activities. The CoE Leader will also lead a group of experienced well engineers that support projects with well designs, planning, and operational engineering support for CCUS, Geothermal, Lithium extraction or Hydrogen sources.
As an I&S New Energy Well Engineering CoE Leader, you will be responsible for:
Developing standards, processes and best practices related to all I&S New Energy Well Design, Planning, and Execution scopes.
Building a central team of new energy well engineers that will support implementation of best practices within global projects.
Collaborating with OFSE product lines to ensure that best in class integrated solutions are provided to all I&S Well Intervention projects (CWI, WL, DCF, S&SPS, AL, PE).
Participating in industry groups to understand New Energy technology and industry trends.
Identify 3PV scopes for engineering and technology and collaborate with supply chain group to establish strategy.
Building robust multi-disciplinary workflow for well design, planning, and operational phases of well delivery.
Supporting the development of training and competency program for I&S New Energy well engineers.
Assuring technical solutions are in place for global projects: Onshore & Offshore Shallow-water.
Leading peer reviews and technical audits of global projects.
Providing technical support to global I&S New Energy projects.
Supporting global teams with instituting digital solution package for New Energy Well Design.
Collaborating with I&S Wells Performance Lead on establishing New Energy Project KPIs and Dashboards.
Supporting I&S OFSE digital application development projects.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum or Energy, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or relevant industry experience.
Have 15+ years of relevant oil & gas well engineering experience, with proven comprehensive well design and operations expertise.
Have 5+ years of Geothermal well design experience, with preference of proven experience in high temperature environments of 250 deg. Celsius or greater.
Have 3+ years of Geothermal Project development and Operations experience (preferred).
Have 5+ years of people leadership experience.
Have operational and engineering experience with proven ability in writing detailed operational procedures and conducting detailed simulations, inclusive of casing design.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $160,940.00 - $298,800.00.
