Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking an experienced Epic Behavioral Health Analyst.

Location: Remote-Monthly onsite travel required
Duration: 3 months

The Epic Behavioral Health Analyst supports the design, build, testing, and implementation of behavioral health workflows. This role works closely with clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and project leadership to ensure behavioral health workflows are effectively configured, tested, and deployed during the Epic implementation lifecycle.

The analyst focuses on modules and tools supporting behavioral health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting clinical documentation, and improving provider and patient workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesImplementation & System Build
  • Lead or support Epic Behavioral Health deployment.

  • Translate behavioral health clinical workflows into Epic build specifications.

  • Configure system components such as:

    • Behavioral health documentation templates

    • Intake and assessment workflows

    • Treatment planning

    • Safety plans

    • Group therapy documentation

    • Behavioral health-specific orders and flowsheets

  • Participate in integrated design sessions and workflow validation.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with:

    • Psychiatrists

    • Therapists

    • Social workers

    • Behavioral health nursing

    • Compliance and legal teams

  • Gather and document clinical and operational requirements.

  • Facilitate workflow design meetings and translate decisions into system build.

Testing & Validation
  • Develop and execute:

  • Provide at-the-elbow support during go-live.

  • Help monitor adoption and workflow issues post-go-live.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems or Behavioral Health–related field 5 plus years of experience supporting an Epic implementation; with a strong focus around Behavioral Health and Ambulatory
  • Must be Ambulatory Certified
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health clinical workflows Experience gathering and translating business requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting: Psychiatry Substance use treatment Outpatient behavioral health Inpatient behavioral health

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $150,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
