URGENTLY HIRING: ANALYTIC ASSOCIATE

You will use healthcare data and practical analytical methods to turn complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations for Merative's client. In this remote Analytic Associate role, your work will help evaluate health-related programs, identify meaningful trends, and strengthen data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with clients and colleagues while independently developing analyses, reports, and quality-reviewed deliverables.ย 

WORKSITE: Remote within the United States- ESTpreferred

WORK SCHEDULE:ย Monday -Fridayย 

PAY RATE: $40.00 per hour W2

CONTRACT TERM: Current through June 30, 2027

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Apply basic analytical methods and knowledge of health benefits to evaluate client experience, identify trends, and assess the success of health-related program investments.

Analyze medical claims and encounter data, prescription drug, dental, and capitation data alongside eligibility, socio-demographic, and provider information.

Develop analytical deliverables and ad hoc reports that translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Respond confidently to client questions, present findings, and advise clients on appropriate analytical methods and reporting approaches.

Participate in monthly database testing, analytical peer review, and quality assurance activities.

Support process-improvement projects that strengthen analytical workflows, accuracy, and team effectiveness.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

At least 1 year of healthcare industry experience and 1 year of quantitative analysis experience; 2-3 years in each area is preferred.

Familiarity with data analysis and/or business intelligence tools such as Excel, Python, R, or Tableau.

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, Business Management, or a related discipline.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, easily understood manner.

Ability to work independently with limited managerial guidance while contributing effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, data-driven environment; familiarity with healthcare claims data, ICD-10, and CPT codes is a plus.
