• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status, formulating comprehensive treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions tailored to address diverse mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.
• Provide patients with therapeutic tools and coping strategies to promote resilience and facilitate recovery from mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to develop integrated treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Document client progress within the EHR system, maintaining accurate and timely records that reflect therapeutic interventions and outcomes.
• Uphold ethical practice standards by maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries throughout the therapeutic process.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Denton Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals coping with chronic mental health conditions, adolescents facing behavioral issues, and adults seeking personal development. You will have the chance to provide culturally informed therapy, ensuring that treatment modalities respect and reflect the unique backgrounds of our clients.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid licensure in the state of California as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• Minimum of four years of demonstrated clinical experience in providing mental health services.
• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapeutic practice.
• Proficient in delivering individual and group sessions using approaches that are inclusive and sensitive to the needs of a diverse patient population.

• Experience with crisis intervention and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, providing the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and commitment to leveraging technology in therapeutic processes.

The compensation range for this position is competitive, offering an annual salary of USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
