Senior Data Analyst


Olsen Consulting specializes in the implementation and optimization of enterprise resource management systems, particularly Vista ERP, for high-revenue construction companies across North America. To further our mission, we are on the lookout for an exceptionally skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our elite team of professionals.


Key Responsibilities

- Data optimization, advising on digital solutions, and Vista ERP consulting

- Lead efforts in problem-solving, investigation, and analyses, providing informed recommendations to clients.

- Create and maintain thorough, timely documentation related to software and analytics tasks.

- Business process analysis, strategic consulting, and actionable insights delivery

- Explore and implement robotic process automation solutions where appropriate

- Provide exceptional customer support, advanced product training, and engaging demonstrations


Qualifications and Experience

- A proven track record of at least 5 years in Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a related role

- Prior work experience in the construction industry is a strong plus

- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a reputable consulting firm is required

- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Azure and knowledge of web development frameworks such as Django and Flask

- Experience with C#, ASP.NET or Ruby on the Rails is an asset

- Ability to demonstrate skills highly preferred.

- Eligible to work in Canada.


Skills

- Advanced MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL knowledge, including but not limited to views, stored procedures, functions, database administration, maintenance and optimization.

- Profound understanding and application of AI and Machine Learning algorithms in a business context

- Academic rigor with a propensity for research, as evidenced by publications or contributions to the field of AI or Data Science

- Experience developing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models for predictive analytics, applying advanced statistical techniques is an asset

- Proven leadership and project management skills.

- High level of integrity and ability to handle the confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across varied clients.
