As a remote health educator, your responsibilities focus on providing health education to the public while working at home, online via web conferences, or traveling to schools, events, community centers, health departments, hospitals, and other places to offer your services. Your duties are to educate students, underserved communities, employees, and other citizens on nutrition, exercise, and wellness and how they can promote a healthy lifestyle. You also teach others how to prevent disease, health conditions, and unhealthy choices. Remote health educators work during regular business hours, usually for health care companies, insurance companies, or health departments, but you can also work on a freelance basis in this career.
