Rydges Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a full-time remote position specializing in telehealth services. This position operates within a remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and convenience while maintaining the highest levels of professional integrity. Team members work during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. We support our therapists with the latest technology to facilitate patient interactions and documentation, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our services.

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, tailoring evaluations to each client’s unique context.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that reflect their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to treat mood disorders effectively.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment pathways, and self-care techniques to foster engagement and understanding throughout the therapeutic process.
• Closely monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring that medicinal and therapeutic interventions complement each other.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, actively integrating new findings into practice.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of accountability and trust in the therapist-client relationship.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and contribute to a dynamic, informed practice environment.
• Advocate for clients, promoting the destigmatization of mood disorders and raising awareness about mental health issues.

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing various demographics and backgrounds, which enriches the therapeutic relationship and experience. As a licensed therapist, you will be instrumental in addressing the unique challenges faced by each individual while guiding them towards improved mental wellness.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT to practice in the state of Georgia.
• Expertise in implementing evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly in the management of mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
• A deep understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals.
• A proven track record of successful treatment outcomes in treating individuals with mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varying backgrounds.

• Previous experience working in a telehealth setting or with remote patient interaction is preferred.
• Familiarity with integrated care models that combine both therapeutic and psychiatric approaches.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and engagement in ongoing training or workshops related to mental health.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 - 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
