Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs and develop targeted treatment plans that promote growth and resilience.
• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing diverse evidence-based modalities tailored to each client's unique circumstances, enhancing their emotional and psychological wellbeing.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring and adjusting treatment strategies to reflect progress and evolving needs.
• Facilitate teletherapy sessions to accommodate clients who prefer virtual interactions or face physical access challenges, ensuring equitable access to mental health support.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical standards and legal regulations to safeguard client confidentiality and integrity.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to refine clinical skills and keep abreast of emerging mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Rydges Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational issues. Our approach is client-centered, ensuring that each individual receives tailored care suited to their unique experiences and aspirations.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license in mental health counseling: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of safe and trusting relationships with clients.
• Empathy, a compassionate outlook, and a non-judgmental approach towards clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, facilitating effective case and administrative task management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting focusing on mental health, particularly in delivering therapy remotely.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience working with diverse populations and the cultural competence necessary to serve clients from various backgrounds.
• The ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively while upholding high standards of care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with caseload and professional experience.
