• Collaborate closely with our child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives integrated and comprehensive care.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, prioritizing the safety and well-being of children and adolescents.
• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of patients, creating a strong foundation for treatment.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on the needs, developmental stages, and family dynamics of each young person.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy and family therapy sessions, focused on emotional management and behavioral improvement.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options, helping them understand available community resources to enhance their support network.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in child and adolescent mental health.
• Deliver family therapy sessions aimed at helping caregivers create a nurturing and supportive home environment that fosters the well-being of their children.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health issues, ranging from common disorders like anxiety and depression to specialized conditions such as ADHD. Working with this population requires a deep understanding of developmental psychology and the ability to engage effectively with both patients and their families. By fostering a trusting relationship, you’ll empower them to achieve better mental health outcomes.

• A Master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent in California. Please note that applicants with an associate license cannot be considered as they are not billable through Medicare.
• Strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.
• Adept at using electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies as part of your daily practice.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy specifically within a pediatric or adolescent context.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build trust with children, adolescents, and their guardians.
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams focused on mental health care or related fields.
