Evergreen Mental and Behavioral Center is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor. This role is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Our outpatient office provides an innovative platform to connect with and serve clients effectively, leveraging virtual platforms for therapy sessions which ensures comfort and accessibility. • Provide weekly supervision to practicum students in their Master’s programs or pursuing clinical licensure, offering guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, using evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to create a holistic support network for clients, including referrals and interdisciplinary consultations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Engage in continuous learning to remain current with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in therapy techniques and methodologies.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. Our patient focus encompasses all ages, from children to seniors, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health care that respects each individual's journey. You will be instrumental in providing them with the tools necessary to support their mental health and overall well-being.

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid state license which may include LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R, enabling practice in New York.
• Professional liability insurance, safeguarding you and your practice.
• At least two years of post-graduate experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• Experience working in outpatient settings that emphasize teamwork and collaboration among providers.
• A background in supervising or mentoring interns or practicum students, enhancing both their and your professional growth.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices, facilitating remote therapy sessions effectively.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to above-market compensation, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
