What You'll Do
- Provide virtual speech-language evaluations and therapy services to students using secure teletherapy platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student's educational goals.
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in individual and small group settings.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Complete accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Support students with speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs while fostering confidence and academic success.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility, where applicable
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home workspace
- Passion for helping students succeed through virtual therapy
Preferred
- Previous school-based or teletherapy experience
- Experience participating in IEP meetings
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and educational technology
- Multiple grade levels based on district needs
