A remote government contractor is a professional or company that provides goods or services to government agencies while working from a location outside of the government’s physical offices. Familiarity with government procurement systems, project management tools, and secure communication platforms is common. Strong written communication, attention to detail, and self-motivation are critical soft skills for success in this remote and regulated environment. These abilities ensure compliance, effective collaboration, and reliable delivery of services to government clients.
