Virtual Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LISW-CP)
Location: South Carolina
Work Setting: 100% Remote/Telehealth
Position Status: Full-Time
Compensation: $115,000-$120,000 annually with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Summary
This remote position is for a licensed therapist who wants to focus on direct client care without an evening or weekend schedule. You will work with clients facing relationship strain, family transitions, anxiety, grief, communication difficulties, and other concerns that affect everyday functioning.
The therapist will guide each client from initial assessment through treatment and progress evaluation. Daily responsibilities include leading video sessions, reviewing clinical needs, updating care plans, completing documentation, and coordinating additional services when necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive behavioral health and relationship assessments
  • Deliver scheduled teletherapy to individuals, partners, and family members
  • Identify patterns that may be affecting emotional health and interpersonal relationships
  • Create and regularly review client-centered treatment plans
  • Provide practical tools for managing conflict, stress, communication, and life transitions
  • Monitor symptoms, functioning, and progress throughout treatment
  • Respond appropriately to clinical risk and urgent safety concerns
  • Record assessments, session notes, and treatment updates in the electronic record
  • Maintain compliance with license requirements, privacy rules, and clinical policies

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related clinical field
  • Active and unrestricted South Carolina LMFT, LPC, or LISW-CP license
  • LICSW candidates must be eligible for South Carolina licensure or approved telehealth practice
  • Clinical experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families
