Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Google Workspace Technical Lead to join our team. This is a remote position.

Be part of a new entrepreneurial organization to drive business growth and be an integral part of a customer's workspace transformation. Work closely with tech titan, Google, to help deliver long-lasting solutions that will be used across the national security market.

A Professional Google Workspace Administrator transforms business objectives into tangible configurations, policies, and security practices as they relate to users, content, and integrations. Operating with an engineering and solutions mindset, they use tools, programming languages, and APIs to automate workflows while looking for opportunities to educate end users and increase operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • End-to-End Project Leadership: Serve as the Technical Lead for all workspace deployments, directing projects from initial inception through to final delivery and completion.

  • Solution Architecture: Act as the primary Staff Engineer, designing robust, scalable environments that meet complex client requirements.

  • Pre-Sales & Proposal Development: Partner with sales teams to assist in writing Statements of Work (SOWs), developing formal proposals, and creating Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates for potential customers.

  • Compliance & Security Oversight: Ensure all designs and deployments adhere to CMMC and NIST standards, maintaining high security benchmarks for national security market clients.

  • Technical Resource: Support the company as the lead technical resource for Google Workspace and other Google Technologies.

  • Customer Advisory: Advise customers on the strategic adoption of Google Workspace Technologies to drive organizational transformation.

  • Training & Workshops: Lead Google Workspace-focused training sessions and workshops for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Collateral Creation: Produce technical and marketing-ready materials (e.g., presentations and white papers) for customer engagement.

  • Technology Leadership: Maintain a passionate learner's mindset, proactively expanding technical depth and achieving certifications in advanced technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • 8+ years of experience in technical leadership or systems engineering.

  • Deep familiarity and working knowledge of CMMC and NIST compliance frameworks.

  • Proficient in both Microsoft and Google Workspace business applications, with the ability to bridge both toolsets.

  • Proven success in engaging with sales teams and translating technical requirements into business value.

  • Ability to travel as needed (<30%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Google Workspace Administrator.

  • Familiarity with M365 to GWS Migration tools, methodologies, and processes (such as CloudM, Google Migrate, etc).

  • Familiarity with JumpCloud.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace (GWS) migration tools and methodologies, including but not limited to CloudM and Google Migrate, specifically for M365 to GWS transitions.

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
