Job description

Job Description LRS is seeking an experienced Manual QA Engineer to support the quality assurance, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications and business systems. This individual will play a key role in ensuring software quality through comprehensive test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with development and business teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in manual software testing, test case development, defect management, and quality assurance processes. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, project managers, and IT leadership to validate system functionality, identify application defects, and support successful software releases. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts for enterprise applications.

Validate functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing requirements. Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.

Perform end-to-end testing of application functionality, workflows, integrations, and user interfaces. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve defects. Conduct regression testing following system updates, enhancements, and production releases.

Validate data accuracy and system functionality across multiple applications and environments. Participate in requirements reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning activities. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and coordinate with business stakeholders.

Create and maintain test documentation, test results, defect reports, and quality metrics. Perform root cause analysis for recurring defects and quality issues. Ensure software releases meet established quality standards and business requirements.

Provide production validation and post-implementation support as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance and Software Testing.

Strong experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance methodologies. Experience validating web-based, desktop, and enterprise applications. Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

Experience testing application integrations, APIs, and database-driven applications. Basic understanding of SQL for data validation and testing purposes. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile and Scrum development environments. Experience testing ERP, CRM, financial, healthcare, or enterprise business applications.

Experience validating REST APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Experience with test management platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or ALM. Experience performing data validation and backend testing using SQL queries.

Familiarity with automated testing concepts and automation frameworks. ISTQB, Certified Tester, or related QA certifications. Experience supporting enterprise-scale application environments.

Experience with change management and release management processes.
