Description: We’re seeking a Senior QA Engineer with 8+ years of experience leading quality assurance initiatives for enterprise applications and platforms. This role is responsible for defining QA strategy, driving automation efforts, improving testing processes, and leading QA activities across the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in test automation, API validation, Agile delivery, and modern application stacks including C#/.NET, Python, Java, and Node.js/TypeScript. This individual will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery while mentoring QA engineers and establishing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead end-to-end QA efforts across multiple projects and Agile teams

·        Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices

·        Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks

·        Oversee functional, regression, integration, system, API, and performance testing activities

·        Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and product owners to ensure testability and quality throughout development

·        Review requirements and technical designs to identify risks, gaps, and test coverage needs

·        Drive automation initiatives for applications developed in:

o   C#/.NET

o   Python

o   Java

o   Node.js/TypeScript

·        Lead defect management, root cause analysis, and release readiness activities

·        Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

·        Monitor test execution metrics and provide reporting on quality trends and release status

·        Mentor and guide QA engineers on automation, testing methodologies, and quality standards

·        Support continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes and tooling

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation

·        3+ years of experience leading QA teams or QA initiatives

·        Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and testing tools

·        Experience testing enterprise applications built with C#/.NET, Python, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript

·        Strong experience with API testing and backend validation

·        Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD environments

·        Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and QA methodologies

·        Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail

·        Strong SQL and database testing experience

·        Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or Google Cloud

·        Experience with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

·        Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or k6

·        Experience leading QA efforts for large-scale enterprise or customer-facing systems

·        ISTQB or related QA certifications preferred

Technical Skills

·        Languages/Platforms: C#/.NET, Python, Java, Node.js, TypeScript

·        Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium

·        API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, Swagger/OpenAPI

·        CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD

·        Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL

·        Version Control: Git

Education

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred

Nice to Have

·        Experience building QA automation frameworks from the ground up

·        Experience working in utility, energy, or regulated industries

·        Exposure to microservices and distributed system testing

·        Familiarity with accessibility, security, and performance testing practices.
