This role is responsible for fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive online environment, driving user participation, and serving as the voice of the community internally. Reports to: Director of Marketing
Location: Richardson, TX or Remote
Duties/Responsibilities:
● Develop innovative and compelling content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
● Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns that align with brand goals and target audiences.
● Utilize graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to create eye-catching visuals.
● Monitor social listening tools to track brand mentions, industry trends, and audience engagement.
● Schedule posts using platforms to ensure consistent content delivery.
● Analyze web analytics and social media metrics with Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign performance.
● Support in managing relationships with influencers, partners, and community members to foster positive
engagement.
● Proofread all content for accuracy, tone consistency, and branding alignment before publishing.
● Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives, digital marketing strategies, and e-commerce
promotions.
● Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), video
editing, photography, and public relations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
● Strong proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe
Creative Suite.
● Experience with social media management tools.
● Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, web analytics, and Google Analytics.
● Ability to create engaging multimedia content including videos and photography for social platforms.
● Familiarity with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns.
● Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in spelling, grammar, and branding consistency.
● Strong understanding of social listening techniques and relationship management strategies.
● Ability to analyze data from web analytics tools to optimize content performance.
● Knowledge of digital marketing principles including branding, public relations, influencer outreach, and e-commerce strategies.
● Effective communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in social media marketing.
Education and Experience:
● High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
● Proven online presence and a strong track record of increasing user base.
Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
