Job Summary:

Are you a creative student tied heavily to the social community? The Social Media and Marketing Intern position is the primary liaison between GradedGuard and its user base. This role is responsible for fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive online environment, driving user participation, and serving as the voice of the community internally. In this paid internship, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in digital marketing, creative design, content creation and social media management while contributing to impactful campaigns across various platforms. Reports to: Director of Marketing


Location: Richardson, TX or Remote


Duties/Responsibilities:

● Develop innovative and compelling content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram,

Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

● Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns that align with brand goals and target audiences.

● Utilize graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to create eye-catching visuals.

● Monitor social listening tools to track brand mentions, industry trends, and audience engagement.

● Schedule posts using platforms to ensure consistent content delivery.

● Analyze web analytics and social media metrics with Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign performance.

● Support in managing relationships with influencers, partners, and community members to foster positive

engagement.

● Proofread all content for accuracy, tone consistency, and branding alignment before publishing.

● Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives, digital marketing strategies, and e-commerce

promotions.

● Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), video

editing, photography, and public relations.


Required Skills/Abilities:


● Strong proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe

Creative Suite.

● Experience with social media management tools.

● Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, web analytics, and Google Analytics.

● Ability to create engaging multimedia content including videos and photography for social platforms.

● Familiarity with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns.

● Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in spelling, grammar, and branding consistency.
