Job Description Summary:
CES is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager, to support in managing the NamUs program goals by assisting state and local law enforcement, medical examiners, allied professionals and the general public with resolving missing and unidentified persons cases. The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the communication strategy, outreach, and content to market the NamUs program to target audiences. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the communication strategy, outreach, and content to market the NamUs program to target audiences which include law enforcement, medical examiners, coroners, forensic professionals, family members, and the general public.
  • Addresses social media, website content, email campaigns, and advertisements in professional publications.
  • Produces regular public briefs summarizing program accomplishments.
  • Provides content for presentations and professional conferences and training events.
  • Tracks ROI (return on investment) for marketing campaigns, gathers customer feedback to inform operations.
  • Designs and tracks performance metrics and produces reports for management and customers.

Required qualifications/skills:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with marketing software or data analytic tools (such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Campaigner, Campaign Monitor, Tableau).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with applying verbal and written communication skills which result in outcomes
  • Proficiency in presenting detailed forensic findings in accessible language.
  • Knowledge of public safety communication practices and forensic terminology.
  • Work to be performed remote.
