Job Title : Oracle WebCenter Sites Lead/Dev

Location : Richmond, VA / Remote

Duration : 12 months + Contract/ CTH

Job Description

Our Client is looking for highly energetic and collaborative Oracle Webcenter Sites Developer in leading Implementations and solution architecture for Content Server Applications built on Oracle WebCenter Sites 12C/11g Middleware platform formerly known as FatWire Web Content Management. The ideal candidate is expected to be an expert in providing architectural solutions for Oracle WebCenter Sites 11g & 12c. Candidate should have good experience in content modeling for effective content contribution, usability of the application, methods for content integration and migration, managing multilingual site content, search engine optimization and dynamic page delivery and caching strategies. The candidate should be a proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions and accept responsibility and risk. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and knowhow to liaise with technical individuals to C-level executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customer to defining the overall technical architecture for the web application
  • Involved in Design and Development of Core Oracle Webcenter Sites Components and Modules.
  • Design an efficient and effective asset data model.
  • Customizing the code according to the business user requirements.
  • Designing and developing Basic and Flex Asset Model, to work with Templates, CS Elements, Flex Attributes, Filters and Security Configuration.
  • Worked on enabling the OOTB Flex families like Page asset family.
  • Implemented Custom Filter Components.
  • Creating and Customizing the CS Elements, Wrappers and various templates using HTML and JSP code.
  • Work with WebCenter Sites tag libraries and Asset APIs, HTML and CSS for webpage creation.
  • Use Eclipse IDE for developing the project, which will be pushed to OWCS libraries.
  • Designing workflow based on business requirement.
  • Developing the utilities to upload and import file into the OWCS. Customizing the attributor editor and OWCS features as per business requirement.
  • Design overall web application solutions and individual applications
  • Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Hands on development in agile environment
  • Lead and mentor development teams
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Senior Business Analysts, UX teams, and other client stakeholders
  • Take ownership of the solution from end to end, and be responsible for translating functional requirements into a web application

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Oracle Webcenter Sites 11.1.8 and 12g, Sites Explorer, Eclipse IDE, CSDT plugin,Tomcat Server.
  • Hands on experience in designing an efficient and effective asset data model.
  • Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and designing Web applications with scalability and performance for desktop and mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of MSSQL Server DB, Java 1.8, JSP, Java Script, JSON.
  • Experience with google analytics, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Windows, Linux, Putty, SQL Server Management Studio 2016, SVN as Version Control.
  • Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Excellent Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Scrum and Agile.
  • Experience overseeing team members
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Skills (Technologies/Methodologies):

Must Have:

  • Experience with Oracle WebCenter Sites 12c, 11g, Java, JSP, JSTL, JDBC
  • Experience with Weblogic, Tomcat Application Servers, Windows XP, MySQL
  • Working knowledge of web-based technologies; HTTP, HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery and CSS3
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Bamboo and great debugging skills.
  • Great understanding with builds, software development and git

Good to have
