Job Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer
Location: West Lake, FL
100% Remote
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a hands-on approach to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native and hybrid environments. The Cloud DevOps Engineer will work closely with architects and developers to deploy, manage, and optimize our cloud solutions, ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, including the setup, configuration, and management of clusters to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and efficient disaster recovery.
  • Develop and manage Helm charts for application deployment, focusing on automating deployment processes and managing application lifecycles across environments.
  • Support the integration of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, utilizing tools like Google Cloud's Anthos for seamless integration and optimal security configurations.
  • Manage and secure Harbor Container Registry, ensuring efficient container image storage and distribution within the organization.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Salt, aiming for streamlined deployment workflows and consistent environments.
  • Implement and maintain observability tools, such as OpenTelemetry, to monitor, log, and trace cloud-native applications, ensuring quick issue detection and resolution.
  • Assist in the development of self-service portals for infrastructure provisioning, enabling teams to quickly access the resources they need while adhering to compliance and governance standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver robust cloud solutions, providing technical support and insights.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation and containerization technologies

  • Experience with Google Cloud's Anthos and other hybrid/multi-cloud management tools.
  • Familiarity with Harbor Container Registry and best practices for container security and management.
