Position Overview

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide counseling services from a location that best suits you, while still engaging with a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches to assist clients facing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths, and treatment goals, leading to the development of personalized, actionable treatment plans for each client.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and psychoeducation, equipping clients and their families with essential tools and coping strategies to manage their mental health.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation.
• Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay current with emerging trends, research, and best practices in mental health counseling through continuing education and participation in professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse client base consisting of individuals from all ages and backgrounds, many of whom are facing significant life challenges. Our focus is on providing empathetic, culturally competent care, ensuring that each client feels valued and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is a strict requirement for this position.
• Current independent LPC license issued by the state board in Oregon.
• Proficient ability to maintain detailed clinical records, prepare reports, and manage caseloads according to best practices.
• Strong capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering goodwill and mutual respect.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and compassionately.
