Position Overview:ย 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is key in supporting accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, and analysis to help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong balance sheet reconciliation experience, accounting analysis practice, and a passion for accuracy and problem-solving.ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.ย 
  • Prepare and post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and support monthly/quarterly close.ย 
  • Assist with financial reporting.ย 
  • Support accounts payable, receivable, and expense tracking as needed.ย 
  • Conduct accounting analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.ย 
  • Assist with audit and tax preparation.ย 
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with financial data.ย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • 3-4 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience required;ย ย 
  • Associate degree or higher in Business, Finance, or related field required; bachelor's in accounting or finance strongly preferred.ย 
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks required.ย 
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.ย 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.ย 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.ย 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.ย 
  • Must pass Microsoft Excel skills assessment.ย 
  • Schedule reliability and strong problem-solving skills.ย 

Preferred Skills & Abilities:ย 

  • Heavy balance sheet reconciliation experience.ย 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, LOOKUP functions, pivot tables, charts).ย 
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capability.ย 
  • Emphasis on accounting analysis and critical thinking.ย 
  • Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive data.

Additional Details:ย 

  • The position will be on-site in Gilbert, AZ for the first 2โ€“4 months, with future remote work possibilities. (1-2 days remote possible in future)ย 
  • Full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.ย 

Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (BOE) + 8% Annual Bonus eligibilityย
