Key Responsibilities

• Create individualized treatment plans for clients by conducting thorough intake assessments and evaluations to understand their unique needs.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care, taking into account all aspects of a client's well-being.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accountability and continuity of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and supervision for enhancing therapeutic skills and staying current on mental health advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse demographic of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship issues. You will help clients tackle short-term crises and develop long-term coping strategies, ensuring they feel supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Professional Counseling or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Ability to meet the internal credentialing requirements applicable to our clinical settings.
• At least one year of experience providing counseling to psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
• Demonstrated experience conducting assessments, making diagnoses, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Competency in using computer systems and software for record-keeping and communication within the practice.

Preferred Experience

• Additional certifications or training in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., trauma-informed care, play therapy) are preferred.
• Prior experience working in a remote counseling capacity is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
