Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking an Information Technology - Solutions Architect for our client in the Professional Services domain. Duration: 6+ Months Contract with high possibility of extension

Location: Remote

Salary: $75.00-$80.00/Hourly

Role: Information Technology - Solutions Architect

Primary Skills: MS Azure

Role Description: The Information Technology - Solutions Architect must have 10+ years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for Technical Architecture delivery and support.

You will report under the Architecture Delivery organization, under Digital Nexus to serve the technology transformation needs of the firm.

The focus for this role is to evaluate solution options, document architecture proposals, and consult implementation teams to ensure architecture guidelines are maintained.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical design and architectural leadership in Azure Cloud technologies (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) solutions, M365 and Microsoft Power Platform based solutions.

- Conduct consultations with functional and technology domain experts to evaluate solution options

- Develop Technical Architecture Proposal documentation and effectively communicate solutions across standard TOGAF Architecture Layers (including Data, Applications, Network, Security)

- Conduct research and participate in the development of roadmaps – which includes product selection, upgrades, projects, and milestones

- Collaborate with project teams to assist in the solution implementation by providing architectural guidance to application, engineering, and operations teams

- Contribute to the Architecture community of Practice with patterns, standards, and reference architecture for consistency and integration across other technology portfolios

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience with migrating platforms and applications from On-premises to Cloud platforms

- Working knowledge of hybrid and IaaS integrations including networking, tenet subscriptions, and cloud frameworks

- Experience with Government Clouds (in any one of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or other) and can design infrastructure that will comply with NIST requirements; Azure Solution Architect Certification is preferred but not mandatory

- In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud Architecture including web-based PaaS and DaaS services, Azure Sentinel, Azure M365 products, Azure Defender, Azure Monitoring, AKS, Express Routes, Azure DNS, APIM, App Service Plan, SQL and NoSQL DBs, to name a few

- Ability to effectively develop presentations, architecture functional and technical roadmaps’ present ideas and proposals to all levels of management and technical expertise

- Technical architecture experience using ITIL, TOGAF or other frameworks to define contextual, conceptual, and logical models that align both business and technical capabilities to explain the architecture

- Experience with integration architecture involving Databricks, MuleSoft will be plus.

- Any prior experience in Enterprise Architecture Management, like SAP LeanIX will be preferred.
