Job Summary

  • Role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and proven expertise in enterprise linear referencing specific to maintaining GIS datasets. Success requires advanced skills and education into the complex landscape of enterprise multi-user data maintenance.
  • GIS Team is seeking a Specialist - Junior, that will support the long-term maintenance and enterprise integration of the Hydrography Layer, a critical GIS dataset compiled by the Environmental Analysis Unit over the past five years. The dataset has reached a maturity level requiring migration into the Enterprise GIS environment and ongoing operation support until ownership transitions.
  • The primary focus is to support data migration, bulk a individual updates, QA/QC, cartography, and Linear Referencing System (LRS) tasks.
  • The complexity of these responsibilities are essential to ensure accurate, stable, and reliable management of the Hydrography Layer within the enterprise environment.
