Job description

Business Development Manager Location: Atlanta, GA | Remote / Field-Based Compensation: $80,000 – $95,000 Base + Commission | OTE $130,000 – $160,000 Employment Type: Full-Time

About This Opportunity

Our client is a DBE-certified geospatial services firm delivering professional land surveying, LiDAR, GIS, aerial mapping, and photogrammetry to State DOTs and prime engineering firms across the Southeast. With almost 40 employees and consistent year-over-year growth, they are adding a Business Development Manager to drive new client relationships and expand their footprint across Georgia, Florida, and the broader Southeast. This is a field-based role — you are not sitting in an office. You are in front of clients, building relationships, and opening doors.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with State DOTs, prime engineering firms, municipalities, utilities, and other public and private sector clients across the Southeast
  • Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and pre-qualification presentations with technical credibility and confidence
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across multiple service lines including LiDAR, photogrammetry, GIS, and professional land surveying
  • Collaborate with the owner and project teams on proposals, scopes of work, and client strategy
  • Own your territory — this role is autonomous and performance-driven

What We're Looking For

  • Background in survey, geospatial, LiDAR, photogrammetry, or civil engineering services — you understand what you're selling and can speak to it intelligently in front of technical clients
  • Proven track record of developing new business and growing client relationships in the AEC or geospatial space
  • Hunter mentality — you are energized by prospecting, relationship-building, and closing, not by managing deliverables
  • Existing relationships with DOTs, engineering primes, municipalities, or utilities in Georgia or the Southeast is a significant advantage
  • ALTA/boundary survey background is not a fit for this role
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a remote, field-based environment
  • Based in the Atlanta metro area

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary $80,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
  • Commission on new business generated
  • On-target earnings $130,000 – $160,000
  • Performance bonus up to 20% tied to company results
  • 4 weeks PTO
  • Health insurance — 85% employer-paid
  • 401(k) — eligible after 1 year

Noor Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.

This position requires the ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast, operate a motor vehicle, and attend client meetings and site visits on a regular basis. Reasonable accommodations will be made as needed.
