The Finance Commercial Manager is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis in support of commercial and revenuegenerating function, while also supporting the adoption of AIenabled automation across Commercial FP&A processes.

This position is part of the FP&A team located in Coralville, IA, and will be a remote position reporting to the Sr. Commercial Finance Manager.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Drive and support the development, enhancement, and governance of advanced financial models to assess business performance and forecast key outcomes, ensuring leadership has clear, timely, and actionable financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Serve as a key subject matter expert in the development and maturation of the Commercial Finance Center of Excellence across IDT and Aldevron, driving standardization, best practices, and crossorganizational alignment with the ability to guide financial analysts by providing coaching, oversight of analytical deliverables, and establishing best practices.
  • Oversee comprehensive financial analysis to deliver strategic insights, highlight performance drivers, and proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities that shape business decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by designing and implementing enhanced forecasting, reporting, and analytical frameworks; leverage BI platforms and advanced analytics to automate reporting and strengthen data quality and integrity.
  • Manage the consolidation and validation of financial and operational data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across the organization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business with 9+ years experience OR Master's degree in field with 7+ years experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 4+ years experience
  • FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related fields, with proven experience supporting commercial teams or driving insights for sales and revenue growth
  • Track record of excelling at researching, quantifying, and communicating actionable insights to cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Advanced skill set with Power BI suite and/or OneStream.
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for financial analysis and reporting, including revenue recognition

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prior leadership experience (managing analysts or crossfunctional projects) strongly preferred

The annual salary range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
