Job description

Drive Life Insurance sales and overall growth at John Hancock. While driving sales in a defined territory within the United States by partnering with a John Hancock External Wholesaler that is responsible for sales in the region.

John Hancock is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate for the role of LifeCare Internal Wholesaler. The role is important to John Hancock's strategy and will provide a great opportunity for the successful individuals. As an LifeCare Internal Wholesaler, you will help grow revenue within a defined territory by cultivating relationships with financial advisors and sharing the John Hancock goal of customers living Longer, Healthier and Better lives. This is a remote, home based opportunity.

The position offers a sales based incentive with base salary and opportunities for performance bonuses in the all in target compensation range of $110,000 to $115,000, plus benefits.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with firms and producers that sell John Hancocklife insurance products
  • Share John Hancock story and value proposition with distributors to drive new business sales
  • Proactively market John Hancock Life Insurance products, to include LifeCare, Vitality, Grail and other benefits of John Hancock.
  • Work as part of a team, in partnership with Sales Support, RVP, LifeCare Specialist, and Sales Management
  • Develop personal sales goals/plan to meet prescribed sales goal
  • Establish a new business pipeline to ensure consistent stream of business/sales.
  • Follow John Hancock best practices for personal and team success.
  • Work collaboratively with the management when implementing sales campaigns
  • Contribute to key messaging and create supporting tools to the various sales initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Licenses Required: FINRA SIE, Series 6, 63, and State Insurance Licenses
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to build team consensus
  • Strong communications skills, able to articulate business cases clearly and effectively when presenting information
  • Ability to build effective business relationships with key stakeholders and business management

$45,000.00 USD - $75,000.00 USD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
