Position Overview

Fortitude Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position offers an annual salary between USD 75,000 and 90,000, and provides an opportunity for licensed professionals to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals, children, and families.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while also providing a supportive workplace culture. The collaborative environment ensures that counselors are not only insulated from some of the physical barriers of traditional outpatient settings but are integrated into a comprehensive system of care. We work closely with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care, sharing our resources and leadership to optimize the quality of services rendered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering strong therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their progress, stability, and readiness for discharge.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that focus on the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment records for every client.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members and healthcare providers to create a holistic approach to therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse outpatient population, which includes various age groups and backgrounds. As an LPC, you will provide direct psychotherapy services to individual clients and families coping with mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns, all within a supportive and understanding framework.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential.
  • A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is required.
  • Proficiency in using technological tools, including computer systems such as Excel, Outlook, RMS, and other relevant software.
  • Experience in providing culturally competent psychotherapy services to individuals and families is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • A background in working with a variety of mental health disorders and family dynamics.
