Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive biop psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients’ needs and establish baseline information for treatment planning.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services, facilitating ongoing sessions to engage clients and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review treatment plans in collaboration with each patient, ensuring plans reflect evolving goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate discharge and aftercare planning to support transitioning patients back into their communities with viable support systems in place.
  • Deliver efficient and effective therapeutic services, ensuring timely documentation and communication of patient progress and treatment efficacy.
  • Complete other related tasks as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to a seamless service delivery experience within the counseling team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse populations, including adults, families, and children, experiencing mental health challenges, particularly those with chemical dependencies and co-occurring disorders. Your empathetic approach and commitment to understanding each client’s unique circumstances will be vital in fostering a safe and accepting therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD within the state of New York.
  • At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, showcasing your ability to provide high-quality mental health care.
  • Proven strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in a remote work setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, depending on your experience, education, specialty, and training.
