The QC Lab Technician III is responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods, creating and maintaining databases to ensure consistent quality metrics and maintaining the QA laboratory.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Laboratory Value Stream and is part of the Quality Department located in Pensacola, FL and will be an on-site role.

What You Will Do

  • Perform analytical and laboratory testing using techniques such as Karl Fischer titration, Buchi IPA extraction, Gas Chromatography (GC), HPLC, Ion Chromatography (IC), FTIR, sample preparation, and data analysis in accordance with approved procedures and quality requirements. Analyze and trend laboratory data using Microsoft Excel and communicate results through clear technical documentation and reports.
  • Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable results while documenting and reviewing data in compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, ISO, and applicable regulatory standards. Investigate laboratory deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) results, support CAPA activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support method validation, verification, and transfer activities, including protocol execution, data collection, statistical analysis, and technical reporting.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline with 3+ years of laboratory experience- preferably, in a regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, medical device, manufacturing, food, environmental, or quality testing).
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, wet chemistry techniques, laboratory testing, and troubleshooting instruments. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Passionate about improving human health and committed to learning, innovation, and continuous improvement, including the effective use of digital and AI-enabled tools.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess

  • Working knowledge of cGMP, GLP, GDP, ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar quality management systems.
  • Experience writing and revising or auditing Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement training or certification.
