The Licensed Professional Counselor position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to deliver therapeutic services within a supportive and engaging virtual environment. As a member of our Community Health Clinic team, you will collaborate closely with a diverse group of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, using methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and state regulations while adhering to the highest level of confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to create a cohesive treatment experience for clients, exchanging insights and resources effectively.
• Participate in professional development workshops, webinars, and relevant trainings to enhance skills and stay abreast of new developments in mental health practices.

In this position, you will primarily serve a diverse population of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults who are facing various mental health challenges. This can include anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will not only involve facilitating individual and group therapy sessions but also creating an inclusive atmosphere where clients feel safe and empowered to share their experiences and work towards meaningful change.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling services, particularly within an outpatient counseling setting.

• Experience with specific populations or specialties, including trauma-informed care, substance abuse, or family therapy.
• Demonstrated capacity to adapt therapeutic approaches to address the specific needs of a diverse clientele.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.

The salary range for this position is competitively set between USD 300,000 and 400,000 annually, reflecting the value we place on our practitioners' expertise and service.
