This will be a hybrid role working between your home office and our Vienna VA office, supporting our Progress Federal Solutions group.
Progress Federal Solutions is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Progress Software, a publicly held company building products that impact millions of people every day.
Progress Federal Solutions focuses on servicing the U.S. government and public sector. In this role, you will:
  • Devise integrated marketing plans targeting federal agencies, defense and public sector, factoring in customer pain points, procurement cycles, compliance needs, legislative trends, and capture strategy.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications for branding, awareness, and thought-leadership campaigns
  • Collaborate with sales, product marketing, government affairs, campaign operations, and external agencies or partners-to build integrated campaign plans, unify messaging, and maximize reuse of assets across programs.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, and continuously optimize tactics, audiences, and channels while reporting pipeline contribution, conversion, and ROI to leadership.
  • Meet pipeline and acquisition targets by leveraging account-based marketing, aligned capture/campaign plays, field events, and other demand-generation tactics specifically tailored for federal audiences.

Your background:
  • 5+ years proven experience in federal marketing, public sector campaigns, or business-to-government (B2G) marketing, including ownership of campaign performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement, compliance regulations, agency missions, and how to translate them into compliant, effective campaign and field strategies.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and data analysis skills, with the ability to manage simultaneous campaigns and field programs end-to-end.
  • Ability to develop creative, differentiated campaign concepts, influence cross-functional teams, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
  • US Citizenship required due to federal group and system access areas.

Base Salary Range: $118,150 - $140,000
This position is also eligible to participate in our commission plan. We also offer a robust benefits package, with details below.
If this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we'd be happy to chat.
What we offer in return is the opportunity to experience a great company culture with wonderful colleagues to learn from and collaborate with and also to enjoy:
