SUMMARY:
This position is part of the Consumer Services team and is responsible for writing thoughtful, user-focused interface copy used throughout the Nintendo Support website and internal agent tools. They create the vision for written content, ensure usability standards, and keep the brand voice consistent across multiple platforms and languages.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Collaborates with design, product, engineers, legal,and other key business stakeholdersto create content that's intuitive, helpful, and consistent.  
  • Uses writing and content design skills to craft clear, concise UI copy for the customer and agent experience acrossmultiple channels. 
  • Helps create and manage UX content documentation. 
  • Explores innovative solutions to address issues through content, images, and multimedia assets, usingproduct knowledge,common sense,and data.
  • Ensures brand standards for voice and tone aremaintainedacross all UX content.  
  • Drives adherence to UX writing and accessibility best practices.Maintainsa UX writing foundationby contributing to style guides, writing processes, collaborative guidelines, and content lifecyclemanagement procedures. 
  • Contributes to the adoption of UX writing tools, technologies, and frameworks,including content researchand metrics. 
  • Works closely and collaboratively with business stakeholders to ensure a balance between compliance anduser experience.
  • Owns complex or ambiguous contentareaswith minimal direction. 
  • Delivers high-quality, error-free content at scale, managing shifting requirements and tight deadlines. 
  • Influences content standards, patterns, or systems beyond individual deliverables. 

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in UX writing, editorial, marketing, copywriting, or related. 
  • Experience in UX-focused navigation and communication writing and shaping content for multi-channelprojects
  • Bonus points for experience with content migration, site inventory, audits, analysis, and SEO   
  • Working knowledge of the design process and general UX design principles. 
  • Experience using and managing CMS/CCMS tools. Bonus points for having experience migrating to CMS/CCMS. 
  • Experience using Figma and Jira (Atlassian Suite).
  • Ability to present to all levels within an organization, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience applying accessibility best practices to ensure content is clear, usable, and inclusive across digital experiences. 
  • Experience working with localization workflows and global content considerations is a plus.  
  • Background in customer support, gaming, or digital products is preferred.
