Tripwire Interactive is always looking for talented, dedicated, and passionate individuals to join our team. We're a video game developer and publisher, known for first-person shooters like Red Orchestra, the wildly popular Killing Floor series, and more recently, the action RPG Maneater. We're located in Roswell, GA, a historic suburb of Atlanta, where living is affordable and proximity to the city provides plenty of opportunities. Without a doubt, our office is an awesome place to work, but at Tripwire we recognize that the true "office" exists both inside and outside of our state-of-the-art facility. With our Remote Work policy, we are able to remain fully productive regardless of what the world throws at us by allowing all employees to choose whether they'd like to work in-office, at home, or a bit of both. This program has been designed to give all Tripwire employees the tools to help them deliver their best work.
Responsibilities:
  • The COO is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end game development process across various platforms from initiation to completion for all of Tripwire's internal 1st party games, 2nd party games developed externally and managed internally, and 3rd party games which fall under the Tripwire Presents publishing label
  • Drive portfolio-level planning and execution by balancing resources, timelines, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects; ensure teams are appropriately staffed and structured to meet production and creative goals
  • Analyze and monitor projects, plans, and processes to identify and address operational risk. Proactively report operational risk areas to studio leadership, while providing a solution to those risks
  • Analyze operations and identify areas of process enhancement. Lead process improvements to grow efficiency, game quality, and staff quality of life. Report on operational metrics
  • In collaboration with Senior Leadership, provide milestone approvals, guidance and feedback to Creative/Game Directors on both internal and published games to ensure titles reach their maximum potential for quality and success
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to define and execute organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring plans aligned with company objectives
  • In collaboration with the CAO, foster communication and execute strategies to maintain high employee morale
  • Provide strategic leadership and strong management to accomplish the goals of the studio
  • Mentor and grow the skills of reporting staff, directors and their subordinates.
  • All other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:
  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis on Project Management, Gaming, or Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 15+ years of applicable games industry experience
  • Extensive knowledge in a broad range of game development and game publishing
  • Must have shipped 2 + titles in a Senior Management role
  • Must have Senior Management experience implementing process to promote productivity, morale, and seamless studio operations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • Experience with growing teams and developing talent
  • Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams, with a commitment to building relationships and collaboration at all levels
  • A drive for growth, self-awareness, and to make a positive impact on the people and culture where you work

While this position is available for Remote Work, candidates must be willing to travel to our Roswell office once a quarter for in person meetings.
Salary range is $200,000 - $215,000 for the base
