Job Summary


The Funding Specialist at PRC supports investor transactions by preparing and coordinating lender closing documents and ensuring all required materials are accurate and complete. This role works closely with both internal teams and external partners to gather and provide key documentation, including insurance, invoices, and lease agreements. The Funding Specialist helps facilitate smooth and timely funding by maintaining organized workflows, meeting deadlines, and ensuring all transaction requirements are met. This position plays an important role in supporting efficient operations and contributing to the overall success of the funding process.



Key Responsibilities


Transaction Coordination & Documentation

  • Prepare and coordinate lender closing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all funding packages
  • Gather and organize required documentation, including insurance, invoices, and lease agreements
  • Maintain organized records and documentation to support efficient transaction processing
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to obtain and validate necessary materials

Funding Execution & Process Support

  • Facilitate timely funding by managing workflows and ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Verify that all transaction requirements are fulfilled prior to funding execution
  • Support smooth funding operations by proactively identifying and resolving documentation or process gaps
  • Contribute to overall operational efficiency by maintaining consistency and accuracy throughout the funding process
  • Coordinate across investor underwriters, sales teams, other internal partners, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution

Coordination of Vendor payments

  • Prepare and process supplier payments by compiling and reviewing all required supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and completeness of payment details
  • Ensure timely execution of payments by verifying documentation and maintaining compliance with funding requirements

Financial Analysis

  • Analyze business financials, including cash flow, credit history, and revenue trends, to assess overall financial health
  • Interpret financial data to identify risks and opportunities within funding structures
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making and optimize funding solutions


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of lending criteria and financial documentation with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to negotiate and clearly convey details to diverse groups of people
  • Critical thinking and judgment to effectively interpret AI-driven insights and make sound business decisions

  • Meticulous eye for spotting discrepancies in legal, financial, and collateral documents
  • Proficient or better at pulling and organizing Microsoft Excel reports to provide insight of inventory to maximize profitability and flexibility


Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $25-$33.00 an hour depending on experience
  • Performance Bonus: Eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to 10%, bringing the total compensation range to $27.50-$36.30 an hour.
